I should have saved myself some money and bought a season pass to the Renaissance Festival, only I doubt they sell them for want of anyone lame enough to need one...Alas, the Renaissance Festival houses so many of my favorite things that I could make a morbidly nerdy version of the classic Sound of Music song... Most importantly, they have a Gypsy Vanner AND I GOT TO PET HER!!!EEEEEIIIIIIKKKKKXX!!!!!

Excuse me - that was vulgar, though absolutely necessary.O_o

Also they have a zebradonkey, or, as the horse people have so innovatively dubbed it, a Zedonk.

We must go back so I can see the end of the joust and watch our favorite evil knight die just because he likes blood-and-death, which is apparently not very chivalrous of him. Though quite honestly, I wouldn't be overly thrilled if any of the other three knights were chivalrous towards me. Not to be shallow, but they were much less attractive, despite the beaming strength-of-character that radiated from their blatantly symbolic white and blue colors.


The BBC series Robin Hood and I have developed an unhealthy relationship in which I obsess, find UK spoilers, and realize that my needs shall not be fulfilled. Not only will the pairing I ship neverever hook up, my favorite half of said pairing is going to stay in the goddamn Holy Land... Fortunately, by the time Robin Hood ends, I'll be ready to spitefully cheat on it with Lost Season Four.
